Arrival in Colima

Took an overnight ETN (la lnea ms cmodo!) bus to Colima... The most amazing bus ever! They give you food as you get on and your chair goes back to practically make a bed! Then we brought round this thing that was like lasagne-yum! There was also a film... I think- I was asleep by that time!

Had a bit of a drama before getting to the bus station coz as we were in the hostel all these fire engines, police cars and riot vans started going past. Apparently there was a fire in the square next to the hostel, but we left early for the bus station and didn't have any problems.

After a nice 10 hour sleep (thank you very much ETN) we arrived in Colima to be met by Karla, a friend of the family who we're going to live with. She seemed nice- couldn't really understand her- left the talking to J.

The house is quite small but we get our own room and bathroom so not all bad!! J unpacked and then we met Perla (the younger sister), we'd met Fernando (the brother) earlier. Both very nice.

Plan is to rest the rest of the day, and probably week actually. J has to work which means I get to watch lots of brilliantly acted Mexican soap operas... to improve my Spanish of course!
