The fight went by like that, because of our excitement and the fact we got to watch Spider-man, and before we knew it we were getting off the plane at Hethrow Airport in London. We arrived in London in around noon on October 1, 2002. We started of with a little bit of a hotel mix-up. The hotel we had reserved did not have the right room for us but the very accomodating hotel manager got us a better room at the hotel next door. We ended up staying at the Ventures Hotel at 16 Sussex Gardens in London. That afternoon we headed out to the Museum of Natural History. A very old building with very interesting information about everything in the world. That night we headed to the Rob Roy Pub for dinner. We were so tired that we all crashed at about 8:30pm.

The next day the world famous London Underground was on strike so we tried to catch a double dekker bus but when we got to the bus stop it looked like the whole city had the we got to the bus stop it looked like the whole city had the same idea and came to this one bus stop. So we decided to walk to Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum. The wax museum was awesome it had all kinds of wax figures from Jakie Chan to King Henry VIII to Prime Minister Tony Blair. The Torture Chamber was cool but a little scary. After the wax museum we went to the London Zoo in Regents Park and saw where they shot the snake scene in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. For dinner that night we went to a fish 'n' chips shop where Michael Jackson ate a few times.

The next day was a big one, we went to The Tower of London, one of the highlights on the trip. Mitchell was fascinated with all the medieval history. I must say I was very impressed myself. After the Tower we went to Trafalger Square and the London Brass rubbing centre. We headed down to West Minster to see the Parliment Buildings and we went to the London Aquarium, just making it out in time to get on our River Thames Night Cruise.

Our last day in London we toured West Minster Abby before heading over to Kings Cross Station to catch the train to York.
