We left France after a wonderful stay in Chenonceau, France. We visited the Chateau Chenonceau and the Chateau Chambord. We took a balloon flight on a prefect evening down the Loire River and right over the Chateau Chenonceau.
Returning the rental car in Paris was a nightmare - in the morning - traffic hour - through downtown Paris - I don't need to say more - We caught the Chunnel train to London with 8 minutes to spare - I lost all appearance of sanity !!
Never, Never drive in Paris !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We had a wonderful visit with Lucia and Melissa Newall - Ruth saw Lucia 20 years ago, last time in Port Townsend. She had a beautiful old English home, high on the hill overlooking Bath. We had a good time visiting the Roman Bath's and walking throughout the town.
Dinner was served by Lucia with roast and Yorkshire pudding, a real home meal after almost 2 months of restaurants or bread and fromage (cheese).
Lucia made our experience of the English countryside complete by fitting in Fish & Chips, dinner at a Pub, attending a play at an old English theatre, and a tour of the Stourhead Estate and Gardens.
