Wet wet wet

A you might have guessed, Valdivia was wet. very wet. It rained constantly for three days....! Not just drizzle, but heavy rain! Anyway, fortunately on the first day the rain held out and we were able to check the place out, and I must say, the relative safety of a small town was welcome! Here there were no issues with walking around at night, and we made the most of it, rain or no rain!  Valdivia is a really nice place, with small streets and squares, and a European feel to it, but most of the entertainment is walking around national parks, which of course was off the menu due to the incessant rain!

Again, no pics, partly because it was too wet to take the camera out, and partly because all you´d see is bloody rain!

After a couple of days of sitting around in the vain hope it would stop, we decided to jump ship (almost had to literally with the flooded streets), and head off in the direction of Patagonia.  Next stop Bariloche, Argentina.
