First full day in Niagara. We had a bit of a lie in until 9:30 and Andy had his first banana for over a week as we get breakfast included in our hostel cost. We decided to get the travelling budget back on course after NYC so we decided to buy food for lunch and dinner for the week. We walked two mile or so round trip to "No Frills" grocery store which makes Asda look like Harrods! Anyway, after stocking up on as many "No Name" (that is actually what it says on the items) products as we could we now have tuna and pasta for dinner for 5 out of the 6 remaining nights! After lunch we walked into main part of Niagara and went on the 'Niagara Sky Wheel" which is basically a much smaller version of the London Eye. To say Andy wasnt keen when we stopped at the top 175ft up and the pod was swinging around, was an understatement as the air tunred blue!! The longest 7 minutes that he can remember! We consoled ourselves after with ice cream dipped in chocolate and sprinkles. We then went in the World Wrestling store where Andy was in his element and even got a picture with Hulk Hogan (well a carboard one!)After we went and watched a glass blower make a vase which was an amazing talent to see but of course very hot too. We walked up to the Horseshoe falls to have a closer look and got wet from the spray generated by the crashing water!Had our first instalment (of may) of pasta and tuna for dinner and after went out to see the two falls being lit up and also the fireworks which were let off over Rainbow Bridge at 10pm. Pleased to say the weather was again very sunny today. Megs lip has swollen with the fungus and her neck has blistered from the sunburn we got whilst on Brooklyn Bridge!
