We spent a good part of the day in Boise--walked through downtown--loved it. Lots of cultural, lots of different ethnic restaurants and "things." We walked through the Basque District (the Basques are a group from Europe--situated on the border between Spain and France). Apparently, Boise has a very large Basque population--one of the largest outside Spain. We ate at a groovy little bistro/pub called Gernika in the Basque district. Loved it.  We probably could have spent a lot more time in downtown Boise.
