On Friday 28th April we set off for Seattle. The coach was late and there was a march happening that day which seemed to congregate right outside where we were waiting for the coach. The march was called "The Day of the Dead" and involved the work unions mourning for those colleagues who died at work!! Needless to say it was not a good start to our journey and it didnt seem to be the best omen for travelling on that day!!

However, we got to our seattle hotel, the Ramada inn and suites (about six hours later mind you) but we were safe and sound! The room was really big and had two queen beds, but we struggled to find anything to do as we were stuck out near the airport. We got on a bus and headed to a nearby mall and spent a few hours browsing round the shopping sales!!

Our flight left early the next morning so we had an early night and a good nights sleep. We got the free shuttle to the airport Saturday morning. As the flight was internal we had to be there 45 mins before departure. the check-ins were all self service which saved time but we did have trouble finding where we had to check in!! Our flight number was Delta but we were actually flying with Alaska airlines but we checked in fine and this time my baggage was within the weight restrictions!!! HEE HEE!!

We did not have much time for looking round the shops and plus our experience of Seattle has not met our expectations so we were quite happy to wave seattle goodbye!! The flight was excellent and the food ok except thay didnt have enough to go round so we got given some food vouchers and bought loads of goodies at Orlando International (so we came out on top really!!). We were offered free alcohol as a compliment as well but we didnt really fancy drinking on the flight!!

Orlando was cloudy when we arrived but still very humid. The Sleep Inn hotel was great and we had another massive room. After our continental breakfast the following morning and a visit to the gym we sat round the pool trying to kill time until claire, helen, chris and andy's flight arrived late afternoon.

I made a sign for them whilst we were waiting for thwm at the airport and it was great to see them all and no, i didnt cry (not that time anyway!!) We picked up the hire cars, a convertible Sebring (very nice) and a people carrier (cant remember the make but also very nice). Then boys in one car and girls in the convertible we challenged each other to find the Villa the quickest!! Well the blokes made it there first but us girl did have the roof down which slowed us down and we probably werent breaking the speed limit!!!
