this one kinda starts about the ferry trip to St. John(NB not the one in newfoundland) got the ferry from digby to st. John at 5 in the morning which meant i was up at 3.45 am. alot of nights i'm not even gone to bed at that time. the ferry took three hours and probably the best part about it was getting to see the sunrise over the bay. it had been quite a long time since i'd seen one.

so got to st. john about 8 in the morning, alot of mornings i'm not even out of bed at that time. got my guesthouse sorted and went for breakfast, bacon and eggs yum yum.

ok so the main thing in this town is the reversing falls. cause the tides are so high went they come in it first the river gets really calm when they are at the same level and then the sea rises above the river level and it looks as if the rivers is flowing backwards. but i don't think the pictures i took will show it that well.

you'll see everything else in the town in a day as well. i'm not to sure how the nightlife is there. it was saturday and one place i was in only had 4-5 people and then the second place would have been the same if not for a party of about 20. plus the whole getting up at 3.30 am was getting to me so every drink was like a sleeping pill. so went home about 12.30 so i can't judge the place on half a night.

next day waited around the town till lunch and then started driving up to edmundston. stopped off at a place called kings landing where they have relocated buildings from the 1850's that were going to be submerged by a dam. i was really impressed with this place. there is about 30 buildings and they have people in period dress, who also inform you about the building and life at that time,  working the buildings such as the  saw & Flour Mils, Blacksmith etc. i was there for about 2 hours and still didn't get to see everything.

then up the 2 to edmundston. i hope i never have to pass by that town again. the places main industry is paper pulping and the smell is one of the worse things i every smelt. the only time i left my room was to go get something to eat at the cafe across the street and i swear to got that smell  had me reaching. i got out of there as fast as i could the next morning.
