LA - in a nutshell.

Did as much tourist stuff as possible. See the pictures (once Ive uploaded them)

Only a short stay, as much about breaking my flight to Fiji as it was an attempt to soak up culture of the US of A.

Ok, so arrived in LA after a 10 hour flight. U.S customs was mad, finger printing, picture taking, it was crazy. Eventually get to our hotel which is nice and crash after a few beers. The next day we're up early to make our way into downtown LA. We decide on taking the Metro which turns out to be very scary. We are the only white people on the Metro! A lot of black and hispanic youths. But we get to downtown in one peice. We check out the Staples Centre (Lakers play here) and then the Dodgers stadium (baseball). We wonder around downtown for a while and then head back (again on the Metro). Next day we have a tour booked around all the famous sights and we meet two girls from Aberdeen and end up hanging around with them for the rest of day. I saw Manns Chinese Theatre, Hollywood sign, Hollywood walk of fame, Venice beach (home of Baywatch) and the Disney Concert Hall amougst others. Later that night we meet a girl from London and she drags us out to Santa Monica for a night out which turns out to be very expensive and I get refused service in a bar because I dont look 21!!!!!!! Anyway get to bed at around three. Next day off shopping to the Beverley Hills Shopping Centre with all three girls and then onto Melrose Ave to continue shopping. Melrose rocked but we have to leave early as Ben and I have a flight to Fiji to catch.
