Arrived, drank, collected bikes

Start of the journey - Collected the 3 R1200GS. All brand spanking new. Had a brief chat with a guy who was waiting for a service - he offered us his map pointed to a few places to go to ..then we headed off.

Headed out of Seattle across "Galloping Girty". An amazing suspension bridge - remembered this from my Civil Engineering days - a standing wave was created one day as a strong wind blew down the valley, the bridge started to sway until it fell apart. Didn't this time luckily enough!

Rode up the Hook canal to Port Towsend, woman in the gas station wanted to do a runner with Andy. Strange but true. Anway we had a very nice beer or 2 in Sirens bar, overlooking the bay. Great view. Then caught the ferry across to Wintney island. 2 guys on naked 600s offered to escort us up the road to the start of a scenic route up to Bellingham. Great ride along the Cuckanut Road.
