Shots and shopping

We finally finished up our course of shots, now we're all set against whatever might attack us on our trip.  For those of you counting, we've got 22 short sleeps to go until our 34-hour flight takes off.

As for the shopping, Michelle went pretty crazy at Lush, they have all kinds of pre-dehydrated things that she felt would be ideal for the trip.  Lotion that comes in a cake, dry deodorant, shampoo bars.   Other last minute purchases include socks (for Michelle as she doesn't actually own any) and plastic cross-stitch needles to avoid trouble in airport security.  Michelle's plan of taping metal cross-stitch needles to her hairpins was vetoed by Susan who preferred to take as little risk as possible at LAX.

Here's the trip outline as we know it:

April 25: Depart Edmonton International April 26: Depart LAX bound for Denpazar, Indonesia April 28: Arrive in Denpazar April 28-May 10: Lounge around in Bali May 13 ish: Arrive by plane in Singapore May 14 ish: Head North for Bangkok May 14-July 28: Backpack around Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos and possibly the Phillipines no plan yet.

August 10ish: Return to Singapore to visit N August 13: Fly to Delhi August 13-24: Guided trek of Rajasthan, Agra, Jaiphur August 28: Depart Delhi for Edmonton August 30: Arrive in Edmonton
