Again, I wake to a poor breakfast, but this time, I don't have any time to stop. I have an hour drive to Tuscaloosa and it's pouring buckets. So hard that even with my windsheild wipers on full blast, I can barely see the road. The traffice report on the radio states that this is "normal." I doubt it.

Once the rain finally slows down, I realize that I'm in the middle of nowhere, which means mcdonalds or something called Skakey's. I pass. I arrive in Tuscaloosa to a campus in the middle of nowhere and more packaged sticky buns and coffee. :( I grab a banana and try to compose myself for the day.

Finally! Crowds of students! Eager to talk to all of us! 4 winners of the raffle and none of them are me. I pack up my stuff and had decided to leave, until I learned that lunch would be in the cafeteria, which in the South means all you can eat!

Entering the baren and disheveled looking room, all I can smell is the heavenly scent of fried chicken, topped by the godly image of Red Velvet Cake!!! Needless to say, my stomach won the battle and had whatever it's heart, or acids, desired!! Mmmmm very good!

Feeling much better, I climb into my car for the 2 hour drive to Montgomery. For some reason, when I arrive, I feel better than before (must be the fried chicken) so I go for a nice long run, do some work, and even have time to lounge around before we head to dinner.

I'm becoming quite accustomed to the east coast/central time zones and head to bed very early. (hope this doesn't come back to bite me).
