We visited Bath for the day, on a bus trip from the city of London.  The reason one goes to Bath is for the Roman Baths.  They are old (in the real sense) and you can see the rooms men sat in full of steam and water from the spring.  The natural source is walled in, and I saw the steam rising up from it.  With a ticket of entrance, a free glass of Roman Bath water is included (from the source) and it tasted very metally, and warm.  Not too tasty, but people traveled from far and wide to visit these Baths -- contribute money by throwing it into the main section, experience the "healing powers" of the water, and visit the city.

The city of Bath was quite quaint.  It was small and filled with lovely small shops of all types, and in the square was a guitarist playing for the crowd.  Outside the entrance to the Roman Baths was a xylophone band, playing nice music.  The ambiance of the city itself was nice in the parts I saw.  I hope to visit again one day (there is another bus trip planned) where I can spend more time walking around the city, as the Roman Baths were large and the audio tour was too tempting to resist.
