My most beautiful moments

We watched the crimson sun retire beneath the horizon as our boat approached our destination. We geared up and jumped right into the ocean as the stars began to fill the black sky.

Beneath the surface, a Porcupine fish the size of my head greeted me. Without much of my persuasion , it inflated itself and lost all control of where it was swimming just like what you see in cartoons! It was a good laugh and it was a weird feeling to touch its spikes as it spun around and around like a ball out of control!

I waved my hand in the darkness, and a glowing green cloud of mist formed around me.

I managed to find a baby blue spotted moray eel as it hunted and didn´t mind me keeping it company and stroking it as it eat every fish in its path.

This part is weird.  In the dark and only armed with a torch light, I approached an area where I was swarmed by a giant cloud of pink worms!. They were attracted to my light and it was so disgusting to find my arm and torch light to be completely smouldered by these wretched things! It looked like the plague in The Mummy. Things got out of hand when they started going into my ears. I was being attacked!

Luis, my dive master, then turns off my torch light. He then told me to wave my hand in the black dark water. In one swift movement, the path i had swept was suddenly illuminated with glowing dust! It was magiC!It was like I was fairy god mother! These particles or organisms are known as Bioilluminescence and glow when excited. Imagine me waving both hands and glowing clouds formed around me! Eventually, the rest of the divers could easily spot me from the outline of glowing particles around me in the darkness.

In a distance, Genie (an actress who is to be acting with Richard Gere in the coming film ¨the Block¨) was occupied with the sight an octopus. I approached it slowly as it continued to retreat and it stopped to provide me a show of a vibrant array of colour changing. God that was beautiful!

I reached out my finger, and you could see the strange alien curiously reaching out its tentacle with a bit of hesitation towards me. Its tentacle met my finger and I felt so ticklish from the suction it had on my finger! 

Before we knew it, alas it was time to surface and awake from the surreal dream underwater. We were greeted by the sky so littered with stars and a fiery red moon that rose barely above the horizon, where sky met sea.

From a distance, the town Playa del Carmen was illuminated with lights in all its glory.

If only I could pause this moment so that the rest of you could share this moment with me......
