We have a few pictures from Rome first, when we went to the Pantheon and cooking in our Rome apartment. Gelato at GIOLLITTI was good !

We arrived in Venice by train, what a spectacular sight coming out from a train station !! Our B&B was an easy 10 minute walk from the station. The first night we walked to St. Marks square.

Always smart to carry an umbrella.......

In Venice it is always a good idea to have an umbrella with you, blue skies can turn into a torrential storm in minutes ! But then the skies clear up, like Hawaii. We went to the Doges Place and Correr museum during the rain. We got 3 day vaporetto passes so we could hop on/off any time. The next day we went island hopping, to Murano (where they make Venetian glass), to Burano( known for lace making and beautiful pastel painted buildings, we had great grilled sea bass---yumm), and the Lido( like Laguna beach or Balboa island right across from St. Marks Square).

We dont have internet in our room, it is a little tricky to get to an internet cafe here, tomorrow we take a train to Milan and then Switzerland.

Here are some pictures of Venice, enjoy!
