First days in Madrid

  8-1-06  (Day-month-year)   Sunday we didnt do much once we got to Madrid.  Our plane landed at around 9:05 and we got through customs with no problems.  A bus picked us up and took us and a lot of other people to our hotel in downtown Madrid.  My roomates and I were pretty exhausted from the plane trip but to ecxited to sleep so we went to the hotel bar and had some celebratory drinks (and then called our parents lol).    While in Madrid we did do a walking tour of the city and I´ve included some pics of that as well as our random wanderings.  We went to the Real Palace and the Prado Museum in madrid.  Faye and I also did our own detour to the Hard Rock Cafe Madrid where we got cheeseburgers the size of our heads!  It was so good to taste good old american junk food!!
