Last day of our vacation, we will be back home in cold snowy Idaho again this tomorrow.  But, for now we get to enjoy one more day of beautiful weather here in Florida.  So to make the most of our last day, my new husband book a last day excursion for us to the Florida Everglades.

I have always wanted to see the Everglades so this was a nice surprise.  We headed on our bus to The Gator Farm to enjoy a Fan boat tour of the Everglades.  We saw all kinds of animals that I have never seen in the wild, including alligators.  The scenery was just what I thought it would be.

After our boat trip we went back to the Farm and watched alligator westling (well, sorta) and got to see baby gators and HUGE full grown male gators.  If you are ever in this part of Miami I definately recommend visiting here.

To top it off, i got to try alligator.  They serve all types of different dishes there.  But I wasn't quite brave enough to try any of the dishes, so I settled for some gator jerky.  It wasn't too bad.
