Okay, I got to campus, finally.  SCU is located about 35 minutes from the coast, the nearest beach is called Byron Bay and is renowned for its surfing.  Its been pretty rainy since I've been here, It will rain in the morning, partly sunny most of the day, then rain a bit again at night.  Everyday.  I have 3 roomates in my apartment and they are all pretty cool. One is a girl from Canada, and the other 2 are a guy and a girl from Australia.  I haven't done a whole lot around here yet because I've just been working on settling in, but I do have a few pictures to show of Byron, around campus, and my place.

Hey Andy, Looks more like a vacation spot than a place to study! Try to stay focused while you're lounging by the pool/beach and hanging out at the "student" bar. What an amazing experience for you. What classes are you taking?

Hi Andy, Super photos of SCU. Glad to hear you are settling in. The campus looks awesome...just like a rainforest. You're so lucky to be spending time there. Study hard... The beaches look really big. I'm sure you're soaking it all up! Beatle Mom

Hey Jen I'm taking two general education courses, one is a sociology course on racism, and the other is a course called outdoor education where we just learn about survival and stuff like that which counts for a geography credit back home. The only class I'm taking towards my major is a biology course called Coastal Marine Ecosystems. They should all be pretty interesting, hopefully!
