Lake Como

So after Milan, it was off to Lake Como. More stairs as we walked down through town. The hotel map was a bit misleading as they also displayed footpaths. So we way overshot the hotel. Par for the course. We got onto the lake ferry and set out to Bellagio. We went by the estate they used in StarWars (Villa Balbianello). Nice scenery along the way. All in all, a relaxing day on the lake. Wandered around the shops in Bellagio. Guess the thing to buy is silk. No one we knows wears a tie anymore though!

After we got back to Como, we went up a funicular above Como. We got excited when we saw signs for a restaurant that specialzed in polenta. Turns out it was closed that day. Darn! So we ended up back in town for a late dinner at a pizza place. Alex inadvertantly ordered a hotdog and french fry pizza!
