It was a long week in the lab, with 12+ hour days. Sometimes I can forget how much prep actually goes into performing a carefully calculated experiment. I had a chance to purify proteins and run liquid chromatography testing. I am learning new useful techniques and brushing up on some old ones. Next week I will be doing Western blots and hopefully starting my own work and begin some PCR.
