Plattsmouth

After Leaving South Dakota.  We head to Plattsmouth, Nebraska.  Plattsmouth is famous for being the town where Ann Snider, my friend and neighbor here at Owings, grew up and her mother still lives.  We had a enjoyable time visiting with Ann's Mom, Meg Knorr.  She showed us around town and the town Museum - They played their Victrola for us. very cool.  We did not go down to the Platt River because of spring floods washed part of the road away and we had enough of driving on dirt roads in Idaho.

Platsmouth is a very quaint small town, a few miles south west of Omaha.  For a small town it was very vibrant and the down town was very much alive with commerce and people, which is an unusual thing in this county.

Sorry for the lack of pictures, we were enjoyed talked to Mrs. Knorr so much we forgot to take any.
