We had another field trip into London today.  Today was great because our program fees payed for this trip except for transportation into the city.  The first thing we did was to eat lunch in Hyde Park where we saw a procession of horses.  Then we visited the Hard Rock Cafe's Vault.  The vault has memorabilia from famous rock stars of the past, including Elvis Presley, Bob Dylan etc..

Then we took a Rock'n'Roll tour of London.  We got a private coach that fit 16 passengers, just enough for our class.  Our guide took us to the most famous parts of the city that put London on the map musically.  We had two stops.  The first stop was at Sticky Fingers which is run by Bill Wyman.  We also had a stop at Abbey Road.  Abbey Road is the site of the famous zebra crossing and The Beatles.  It was neat to try to get a picture crossing the road, but cars kept coming in both directions so that made it a little difficult.

We stopped at Abbey Road and Bill Wyman's Sticky Fingers.

I also signed the wall in front of the recording studio on Abbey Street.  Every week the wall is repainted because the wall is completely covered with graffitti and written messages.

After the bus tour, we were allowed to go off on our own.  So a couple of my friends from the class decided to eat dinner in Hyde Park.  We also took a walk by the Serpentine before we headed back home.  The bus tour and vault were very educational and fit in perfectly with our class discussions.
