Litt forut for min tid her, men vi ankommer NYC tidlig morgen 6. juni, og etter et par timers soevn og frokost, skal vi rett ut til butikkene! En ny garderobe skal kjoepes, hvorfor ikke kjoepe den til halv pris av hjemme?!?! Shopping-lista er klar, kredittkortet klart, og hvem bryr seg vel om aa se Empire State Building, Rockefeller Center og Statue og Liberty, naar man kan se 5th Avenue, Macy´s og andre shopping-herligheter?! Vaare dyrebare 2 og litt mer dager skal utnyttes og misbrukes!

So the final destination on the trip was New York. Probably couldnt be a bigger contrast to the last few months but we survived!

We landed at 2.30am and got the subway to Manhattan, where my parents - John and Rose had booked our hotel. We got a few hours sleep and met my folks in the lobby and out for breakfast. We only had 2.5 days so it was as usual go-go-go! The trip consisted of sightseeing, shopping and eating. What else is there?

The fun wasnt over yet though. We boarded our plane to leave NY and sat in the queue to take off for 3 hours. Then when our turn finally came the pilot announced that we didnt have enough fuel to fly to Vienna. So it was back to the hub to refill and 4 hours later we took off. Only took 15 hours NY - Vienna. A record im sure. Thenm in Vienna we missed our connection of course so we were put on the later flight to Oslo. This flight was also delayed so we missed our bus out of Oslo airport by 10 mins so we had to sleep in Oslo airport til the 1st trrain went next morning at 7.30! So we travelled to some of the poorest countries in the world and never had a bit of bother and we come back to the "developed world" and everyhting goes pear shaped! We honestly didnt care though. It was the end of the trip and we were pretty wrecked!
