We arrived at the Bandara Husein Sastranegara Airport at approximately 11.00 am after about 2 hours of travelling. The airport was small & crowded which is situated within the city of Bandung itself. One thing that amazed me about the airport is how outdated the toilet is. I didnt know "tandas curah" still exist nowadays. I am very sure a lot of people, the youngsters especually would ever heard of this kindof toilet before. And yet, they still have it in Bandung - to make it worse, they have it at the airport itself - the gateway to the city ! Using the toilet brings back the old memories in me.....very nostalgic indeed.

From the airport, we took the airport cab which took us about 15 minutes to get to the hotel. The hotel i.e. the Patra Jasa, was recommended by Ain since she stayed there before during her last trip to Bandung. It was an ok hotel with a very fair price - approximately RM100/nite, inclusive of breakfast. One thing good about this hotel is it's location. The location is so stratregic for a shoppers like us since most of the factory outlets are just a walking distance away. It is actually surrounded by the outlets - it's so near you could run back to your room to pee just becoz the toilet at the outlet is painted red instead of your favourite colour, blue !!

By the time we checked in, most of us are already so hungry. So, again as recommended by Ain, we went to this restaurant across the hotel called Waroeng Spesial Sambal “SS” Pedas Abis  for lunch. We ordered a few dishes to go along with the rice. As the name goes, the food here is super-hot. We ate with tears running out from the eyes & nose ! Nevertheless, the food are nice (not considering the hot part) and cheap....very-very cheap indeed.
