We drove up from Tavernier on Sunday afternoon to stay at the Marriott by the airport so we wouldn't have to get up early for our Monday flight. As usual, Gretchen had Marriott points, so we stayed for free. While we were relaxing at the hotel in the hot tub, we met a JAL pilot from Perth, Australia, who was in town for a wedding. We all ended up going to South Beach together after a quick detour to find his car in a super ritzy section of Miami. Good times!
While we were in the hot tub, we met a hot Australian pilot.
