I stopped a large beautiful park of Highway 95 where there was a couple of large sandy beaches.
In addition there was a memorial for the Connecticut victims of the Sept 11, 2001 World Trade Centre attack.
What was interesting that day was clear and warm but the park for the most part was empty. Talking to a lady there, she said that before Labour Day the park would be full.
