We could not stop singing  “I’m going to Kansas City… Kansas City here I come…” while we were there.  It was really annoying.   KC has the feeling of an overgrown suburb, we had a pretty good time nonetheless.  Kauffman Stadium is neat with its fountains and giant crown atop the scoreboard.  We also met some nice folks, ate delicious barbecue, and spent a day at the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum, which we highly recommend if you find yourself in town.
