Landed in Manchester

We landed in Manchester two hours behind schedule, due to a delayed departure from Toronto.  On board, we were told that the delay was caused by a bombing at Glasgow airport.  Needless to say, that wasn't exactly what we wanted to hear at that point, but hey, it was a good excuse nonetheless.  We were glad that we never got to booking our bus tickets to London ahead of time - we would've missed our bus.  Instead we bought a ticket on the spot for a late evening bus, but ended up going on the 2:40 pm direct bus to London, on standby.  There were only two empty seats on that bus (despite its "fully-booked" designation), and they had our names on them.  We took off to London after having lunch in Manchester.
