Bens bike was making some pretty nasty sounds when shifting into first gear. First guess was the clutch malfunctioned. Had to drive to Cabo San Lucas in the very Southern point of Baja, as there was the only BMW-service point of Baja.

Cabo is a nice place for party people. With just 35,000 inhabitors, this town accomodates over 120,000 tourists daily... Mostly Americans. Great beaches, lots of watersports, restaurants, bars - bladibla to have a good time. So that's what we're having, whilst waiting for the bike to get repaired.

We went for a dive today. Very nice. 2 Descends of approx. 45 mins. The sea water still is a comfortable 29 degrees Celcius at 20 metres !! The Harley-guy (Gerardo) we met in La Paz, coincidentally passed by our Cabo hotel. Had lunch with him on the beach. Turned out he's a dive instructor! So immediately booked a trip for the next day :-)

Bought a pair of running shoes yesterday-night to get into the physical & personal first gear as well. Riding bikes, have lunches and dinners in restaurants makes you grow fat fast. So we'll just add some excersice to the program ;-) Did my first 7K run this morning.

This guy was definately NOT going up with us. No lobster for dinner 2nite.

In total we had to spend 4 days waiting in Cabo before the clutch was ready. Cabo´s a nice place to hang around for 1-2 days. But after that, you might get bored with the American tourists there. Basically Cabo is more of an American party town than a Mexican city. Anyway we spent two days on the beach, had a dive and were busy with the bike. Happy to move on to La Paz again to catch the ferry to mainland MX next day.
