Mount Rainier NP

Well, I could feel the mountain ... but thanks to the typical weather for this region I had no problems to overdue the picture thing ... it was hidden behind clouds and according to the weather.com this won't change for the rest of my stay here in Washington State. Because of the bad weather most of the streets were closed - well, but I really enjoyed the beauty of the trees and the rain drops :-) ...

I even did a little hike near a lake - original I wanted to do a hike to a lake, but apperently I changed my mind without knowing it - It was weird, but at the end I was wet and the rain really picked up and it was absolutely fine with me that I never saw the lake! That night I drove to Portland, Orego, because it was way to wet to put the tent up and I read that Portland has a nice little Hostel - well, that sounded just perfect!
