Today we visited the Loire Valley of France.  In the morning we toured the Chartres Cathedral which was built during midevil 12th century.  We have discovered that the church was at the center of the towns life during these times.  The church was constructed with the surrounding town built around it.  This cathedral holds over 2,000 carved figurines which chronicle the life of Christ.  There is also Labrynth on the flooor which reporsents the travel to reach Christ. Otherwise known as "Ham & cheeses. After lunch I setepped back into the cafe to order two ice-creams for Byrce and I.  When I came out Bryce anc Colin told me that my Diet Coke had been stolen by some French Girls.  According to the boys, they were sitting outside the cafe and were approached by a couple of French girls who were speaking to them in French. Before you know it the girls had swiped my Diet Coke and ran off laufing.  The boys were dumfounded. After lunch and shopping we departed for the Chambord Chateau.  This chateau was originally built by Henry II as a hunting lodge.  It was also used by Louis XIV.  With 77 staircases,
