Now, to get off the island of Tasmania we took the ferry. A 14 hour ferry ride gets you from Devonport to Melbourne. We had a cabin and 3 cruise seats. It got dark quickly after we left at 8pm. With the shore behind us and nothing left to see we all went to bed, and were rocked to sleep by the waves of the Strait. Noone got seasick and we all slept reasonably well.
