Day 45 - SARAH'S - Brisbane!!!

Bex and I got up pretty early as I had to be ready for the bus at 9.30 and Bex had to be ready for 10 for her trip to Nimbin!!!

We went and got some breakfast from the usual Cafe...we both had Bacon and Egg rolls, yummm!!!!

After that we finished off packing and Bex ran to the shops to try and get a new belly bar ball as she lost hers so has one of mine on. But none of the shops were open so she was soooo close to missing me, but she arrived back just in time!!!

I got on the hostel bus which took me to the bus stop, had a little chat with some woman...she seemed a little odd to be honest!!!!!!! Then got on my bus an HOUR later at 10.30...whilst in the line to be checked off the bus man's list i met a girl called errr ??? (I can't remember). But she was nice and i sat next to her untill she got off at Surfers Paradise 2 hours later. Also on the bus we met a group of guys, but they also hopped off at Surfers, GRRR!!!! The Devil Wears Prada was on which kept everyone pretty quiet.

Butttt it was ok because my friend Dave was getting on at Surfers and going to Brisbane to stay with a friend so I chatted to him for an hour or so.

The bus driver had a bit of a heavy foot on the brake, and always seemed to slam them on right at the last minute...at one point some poor guys flip flop flew down the bus!! Was funny though...

I waited for the hostel bus along with 4 other people for AGES, it finally showed...it was a major squeeze with all the bags and sur boards!!!

Eventually arrived and checked in...dragged by bad upstairs and went for a wonder...and found...literally nout!!! Was very rubbish. So i went back to the room..which has 3 other girls in from Korea or something (im sure one of them is a prostitute!!). I showered and chanmged and went on the hunt for some food. The hostel does food but it didnt sound good so i got a drink instead and sat down with 2 girls called Amy and Rebecca..both English. Amy's friends were coming so we waited for them and then went to the pub and had a few drinks. It was a pretty average night.

I went to bed pretty early as got to be up early tomorrow for THE ZOO!!!!!
