Checked in at Langgura Baron Resort for RM150 per nite for a Superior room , 2 double bed. This chalet is recommended to me by my colleague, Sharmila which turns out to be quite nice. When you open the door, the Chenang Beach is right in front of you. Lots of eating places around with one right in front of oyr chalet. For a RM150 per nite, what is there to complaint !!

After Zuhur, we head straight to Oriental Village. Oriental Village is a place that offers many things to do. The top of the list is of course its the entrance to the Langkawi Cable Car. You haven't been to Langkawi if you haven't been on one of these things.

The Langkawi Cable Car is the world’s longest free span for a single rope cable car. Its a 2.2 km ride up a 42 degree incline to the top of Mount Mat Chincang. This cable car is not for the faint hearted! I have never in all my life seen a cable car rise so steeply! It's a rather scary experience. I am not really keen on heights but it's something that had to be done. As it goes higher, I felt so motionless - don't even dare to move! Marsya can't even look out / down from the cable car. All she did is squatting down & shouts "Allahu Akbar..Allahu Akbar..." .

By paying RM15, you can experience an amazing cable car ride up to Mount Mat Cincang. On the way uphill, you can see the forest below, Pantai Kok behind you, Seven Wells on your right and the sky in front of you!!! You've to get off to change to a second cable car for getting to the highest point. At the second station, there's a 125 m length of curved suspension bridge. This bridge did moves when the wind is quite strong.To get to this bridge, it is kinda tiring for those who had never performs regular exercise as one needs to do a little bit of climbing.

Other thing that can be done here at the Oriental Village is shopping (lots of shops around), dining (few restaurants), deer & rabbit feeding etc. Its also offers such a nice landscape with big chinnese style Koi pond in the middle of the village.

The only drawback to this Cable Car trip is the faulty of my Olympus. It just didnt work on our way down of the Mount Mat Chincang. Dunno what actually happen - couldnt be the cold weather as it is an all-weather camera. Felt really down after that. Well, what to do....shit happens !!
