Today we made our way back to the RCMP training site to visit the RCMP Heritage Center. This museum was beautifully done. They brought us through the very beginning of RCMP history all the way to what the Mounted Police do today. My favourite part was the investigation exhibit where we're brought through a crime scene, identifying evidence, match up bullets to determine what gun was used, DNA sampling, foot print and finger print investigation... it was well done. They had another exhibit to explain their role in today's society all in comic book layout... it was amazing!

A record breaking heat wave of 37 degrees hit Regina and it made it uncomfortable to watch the RCMP parade in the parade square. I understand that this is part of tradition, but what is the point... they had a band and marched around, stomping their feet and moving their heads...
We left Regina later than planned because we wanted to finish the Heritage center. At 4:30 we headed out and drove all the way to Cold Lake Alberta, meeting up with Craig's friend late that night.
