Graz is truely beautiful - and you may think she's turned int a granny while she has been away - but if any of the computers had usb lines and i could upload some pictures you would see what i mean!

Firstly i did a walk up the hill to the schloßberg and to get a rooftop view of graz - well i say walk - i actually took the train lift thing - it was very hot and i could find the stepped route!´

...it was like old people bumper cars!!!

The view from up top was immense - especially of the kunsthalle - the friendly alien!! its the view most people would recognise with the eyes or sun pipes poking through! that i was saving for tomorrow! The walk down from the hills nearly sliced my feet open - probably wasnt the best thing to wear on my feet - flip flops!! i've learnt!! but it didnt drawn blood so it wasnt that bad!

The next day - i forget what the day actually is so its either the next day, today or yesterday i'm afraid! I did a walk around the old town - very picturesque with some lovely gardens, and streets etc!! Ten came the highlight of my visit - the kunsthalle - the exhibition they had one was chine welcomes you - and i was abit dubious - but it was fanatastic!! the best bit being the exhibit with about 10No. madame tussuad quality wax models of old men - each different all in electronic wheelchairs which randomly went in different diretions. Each model was dressed to represent a different culture from what i could translate and some of them were holding cigars of whisky etc. it was quite amusing watching them bump into each other it was like old people bumper cars!!!:) I wont go on for too long about the building because i know it will bore some of you!!! but it is amazing - the aliens eyes light the whole upper gallery and the curves facades are actually visible on the inside!! curved facades are not always reflected on the inside!! Unfortunately it became dark to late for me to see it lit up becasue i was a tird sole#!! THat day i also did a walk around the river mur, incorporating the new island - whihch i thought was a massive dissapointment!! unlike the kunsthalle the inside is completely devoid of the exterior, and its for the exterior that people visit - basicially its two designs one inside another and is certainly not seamless - you can tell it was design by someone with architects training but an artist!!!

Enough moaning!!! I'm off to pack for my trip to venice!!
