Really the only reason we began in Kuta is that it's the international entry point into Bali. Only spent enough time here (this time) to make transport arrangements north, shower and eat. Did see a beautiful sunset on the beach which served to remind us that Bali is truly a magical place...
Paid WAY too much to a very nice, but persistent woman on the beach for two sarongs...We must have had the "I've just arrived and don't know which way is up" look on our faces. Oh well, that's part of the experience.
Bali is truly a magical place...
Kuta Beach...crowded, but nice enough intro to Indo.
