This Saturday I went with the student associationg ICO to Lac de Paladru, which is about a 45 min. bus ride from Grenoble.  I went with some of my friends here as well, and we had a great time!  We left at 10 a.m. (even though we were there at 9:15 like they told us to be)  I guess it's one of those "culture differences" in France, they are rarely on time, just like the students from Mexico.  Anyways, we were on the road and the day looked promising.  It was only 10 euros for the whole day of beach, catamaran, canooeing, wind surfing, lunch, snack, and drinks.  It was really fun except around 5 it started to get cold, there wasn't anymore sun, and it began to rain.  We played some fun games for prizes like les oeuf, egg throwing, where we toss an egg to the other person and keep moving back until the egg cracks.  Needless to say I was not very good at it, but I managed to keep my partner free from egg debris!  It was a really fun day, minus the rain and cold part, then around 7:45 we got back on the bus and went home.  Valerie, Kiki and I had some hot soup from a nice Chinese restaurant and then we each were exhausted and went home.
