So, Amsterdam is a very liberal city. Where basically everything is accepted and pretty much legal. I was a bit schocked...but I guess there are things you need to see once if your life right???

I did however enjoy Holland - I went to a clog making demonstration - even wore a pair. They are actually quite heavy. And, I had a chance to do some touring of Amsterdam by day as well. I visited the fabulous Anne Frank House - which was pretty cool to see where 8 people hid away in a few floors for more than 2 years during the peak of WW2. I also checked out the Van Gogh museum - which was pretty cool. I saw the 'Sunflowers' painting, as well as many other famous paintings that the famous artist painted over his brief tenure.

Last stop on my 46 day tour...sniff!

I also had  chance to mail a 'few' things home as well - seeing that it was the end of my tour - and I would be leaving my bus coach behind (where I was storing all my souvenirs) So...the final tally...18 kilograms sent home. Thank god Amsterdam is a cheap place. I have forbidden myself from buying any more books about places I've visited & liquids of any sort (wine etc.). But...I have to carry everything now - so I don't really think I will be 'leaping' for heavy souvenirs!!! Bring on the magnets.
