In the midst of our long trek from India to Turkey we found ourselves with an overnight layover in Bahrain. We had fully been planning on spending a lovely night sleeping on the chairs at the airport.
However, when we arrived in Bahrain we were directed to an airline counter where we were given a voucher for a night's lodging, transportation, and breakfast all compliments of the airline! We hopped on the shuttle and found ourselves sleeping in a $350/night hotel and provided with a full breakfast spread in the morning.
