Return to Cairns

We returned to Cairns and thought we should attack it from a more central location, get involved a bit more. So we booked in to Global Palace. A lot more central (opposite Subway!!) and just round the corner from The Wednesday eveening was spent at Shenanagins, where we joined in their poker night. There was about 60 players on tables of 10. Natalies din't play but she was soon joined by myself after I went all in first hand (showing the table who was boss but it backfired). Paul and Adam lasted about an hour before their luck run out.

Thursday was spent mooching about but with a few beers in mind for the evening. We were just walking out of PJ O'Brien's when we spotted 4 guys we had befriended in Koh Tao. Small world!! A few drinking games were played, Natalie fell off her chair and we ended up having a good night!!

The next day we picked up our campervan from Britz to start our journey down the coast. Our excitment levels were high as we inspected our spacious 6-person campervan. After a mammoth shop of food, our first port of call would be the Tablelands.
