Hello from a chilly Stockholm. Hats, Scarfs and ridiculously large anoraks are evrywhere to be seen. Meanwhile there is less than 40 hours to go 'til we're wearing shorts, vests and sunshades. The reason I know this? Emma is a biological countdown clock, that's why. For the past 6 weeks since we booked the tickets I have had a breakdown almost to the very millisecond of when the trip will commence - "Babe, we are leaving in four weeks and two days and three hours and ...." She would say as she popped her head inside the toilet door, or during a phone call or whenever the chance arose. Once she doesn't start to countdown the days till we return to Stockholm when away I'll be happy...

Just kidding, its been a great boost of energy in many cases. Just wish there was a switch!

There is less than 40 hours to go for our 2 month trip

Realised today that unlike the Swedish population coming from a formerly "devoloping nation" - Ireland - I don't have basic ground immunisation. Another trip to the vaccination centre for me tomorrow then.

Meanwhile Emma is busy writing lists and checking them twice. Some of the perks of having an organised Swedish girlfriend ;)
