Hadn't had a chance to update because I didn't have internet access until now. It's been a whirlwind backpacking through different countries on a whim, and I'll put down what I remember. A few things about my traveling: I freestyle each place, guided by Lonely Planet's Guide to Western Europe book which I bought in Paris, only form of communication is my cousin Phil who I SMS'd which country I was in that day :) , don't have a plan to where I go next, I don't use maps and wander and get lost alot, and the answer that always amazes people when they ask - yep just me.  Daring, brave, courageous, is what people have called me. I don't think so... maybe just a little out of my mind.

First destination was Luxembourg city. Train ride and arrival was fun, cause I was so excited about starting my adventures. Coming from France, there was a big change in locals. People here are cruder, and a bit strange. Walked 30min to the city centre, trying to find a hotel along the way but the only available ones were 100+eur chain hotels. Got to the city centre, searched there unsuccessfully, getting more desperate by the min, because I wasn't used to carrying a heavy backpack for such a long way. Headed back towards the train station, caught the bus on the way, tried to buy a ticket from the bus driver who didn't hear me so I just hopped off without paying (shh). Finally found a hotel accross from the train station for 60eur/night, sweet I'll take it. Lol after I realize the street it's on is lined with strip bars and sex clubs (yup it was loud at night), so walking to/from the hotel was a bit shady especially at night. But the reception guy was nice, turned out to be from a city near Annecy where I was studying. Anyways, Luxembourg was ok - nothing too spectacular. Spent two nights. Wandered around the city, took pictures, shopped, and was ready to leave.
