After a 23 hour bus ride on a pretty basic bus, we arrived in Foz do Iguacu. Jeez, we have never been any where so oppressive. It was in excess of 40 degrees and very humid. By the time we had hauled our back packs to the hostel, we were soaked. Great little hostel called Bambu -  recommend it to anyone. Easy to get to the falls by bus from here.

We were told we were able to see all the Brazilian side of the falls in a couple of hours, so set off that afternoon. Pretty expensive (but then Brazil is expensive it seems) but you can only get a real feel for the enormity of the falls from this side. We took probably around 167 photos, of which there may be one good in there! And boy it was hot. Hot hot hot. Lost half a kilo that afternoon we reckoned!

Chilled out in the pool and at the bar afterwards, and as it was our last evening in Brazil, we drank a few more caipirinhas.
