Wheee.... back in the 1st world! :) After one week crash landing in India the neat and orderly Singapore was a welcomed relief! My friend Callum came to pick me up from the airport to his awesome place by the seashore near the downtown. After a freshing shower we went to Raffles Long Bar for a very very nice SINGAPORE SLING !!!! Yep, this time no fake but the original version of the drink!See happy me in the photo! Besides the Long Bar is very relaxing and cosy place to chat and enjoy old colonial era athosphere. There were no noisy modern fans but rather old style back and forth swinging fans in the ceiling. Peanuts were available in every table and floor was all over covered with peanut shells.

After nice chat and drink we headed to Chinatown for an excellent late night dinner. Callum had singled out a very nice resto in the heart of Chinatown - where we had some mysterious 'misty champagne pork ribs', fabulous fresh dimsums and other first-class Chinese dishes. Although it was already late and Callum had to work next day and I had a long journey behind we decided to hit Hotel Scarlet's bar which had fancy drinks and BOLD 'table covers'.

The next day in Singa I spent pretty much for shopping and sending back home items bought in India and Singa. In the late afternoon i headed back to airport as my flight to Manila was boarding before 6 pm.
