Dooi Dudes,

Yeah, I was studying for a Double Degree in International Business and was told the news that we'd be studying in Amsterdam for two semesters, one year 2 and one year 4 and get a second degree for our troubles...wow!!!

Second year semester:

First experience of living away in a foreign country alone for six months...well, I wasn't alone because I was living in International Halls with up to 100 other people lol and the other people as nervous as I was from the UK.

After the first few trips to the supermarket and not knowing a word of German never mind Dutch food, I managed to work out that Kip = chicken so i stuck to chicken for ages until I became a bit more adventurous ;)

The Uni (Hogeschool INHolland:

Well, what can I say...other than wow...the ladies studying at the Dutch institution are gorgeous ;) and definitely do well to disguise the apparent lack of quality in the teaching in our lectures..not that we mind too much because our workload is far too intense doing two degrees in the space of the time it takes everyone else to complete one..and being away in one of the most cosmopolitan and ethnically diverse cities in the world...as I found out when we realised we'd be studying with upto nine different nationalities. That was a shock at first, but then I recognised the opportunity to develop my international business skills with first hand experience of intercultural communication in multinational groups ;)

Social Life:

Well once again i'd have to say wow...because there is just such a great variety of clubs, bars, restaurants, casinos, and yes, you've guessed it football!!! We played football every Wednesday and Friday night ; )

However, as we couldn't afford to go out all the time being in the capital of Holland, we rested in our International Halls having wild international parties with all the different nationalities ...all part of the culturally enriching experience...meeting and making new networks of friends from all over the world ...learning new languages and flirting with hot ladies from all over the world...one in particular from the Ukraine particularly drew my attention..gorgeous Angela Khrustenko mmm body to die for and loved footy - what more could I possibly want?...let's just say I helped her to improve her English he he ;)

Fourth Year Semester 1:

By now, we knew what to expect so I didn't phase us too much just that we had a bit more disposable income from our time working during our Third Year Placement Years which meant we could enjoy ourselves a bit more...went to Arsenal vs Ajax with a Belgium dude I made friends with in 'Dam and Arsenal vs Sparta Prague with Sajil - Nepalese guy on my Degree Course.

Studied Asian Business Studies which has opened up my International Business viewpoints and given me more of a desire to follow in the footsteps of my mate Lou and travel across the world and especially into South East Asia to receive some first hand experience of how it feels to live and work there..and ofcourse meet some more of the hot South East Asian women like those that have whetted my appetite studying alongside me in Amsterdam :)

Roll on July:

Graduate in Amsterdam on 13th July at a huge ceremony with the masses from all five locations of Hogeschool INHolland and can't wait for the after party which was held in Heineken Music Hall by the Amsterdam Ajax Arena last year ;)
