(Ronnie's story) On our way to Cape Town, we decided to leave a day early to spend some time in the wine country. The view was absolutely amazing as we drove from the mountains down into the village of Franschhoek. The hotel was gorgeous- roses blooming, a hot AND cold pool and surrounding mountain views. The room was the most luxurious I have been in and the dinner was fantastic. It was very difficult to leave the next day. Strangely enough - I did no wine tasting. But... the crossiants were the best I have had so far.
