Last Day in the US for 7 months

I'm backtracking a bit here because I realized that the world map did not include the springboard of my trip. I arrived at the airport exhausted because I was awake during the night, wondering what the toilets would be like in India for some reason. The enormity of the trip hit me with full force as I checked in. My name was selected for a random security check. Pretty soon, the contents of both backpacks were strewn all over a table as they inspected every inch. The guards were nice, maybe a little too nice. It was worth the trip and planning alone to see them try to repack the bags. One held down the straps while the other shoved my gear inside. I knew that everything was going to be fine as long as I had a sense of humor.
