Back to Quito again!

Hi everyone! FINAALLLYYY back from the jungle..We´ve got 20days vacation (YAAAYYY!), so looking forward to the rest..and of course..galapagos!!! How are you all doing??!! Got some really great emails..thanx a stack..keep them coming!! LOVE hearing all the news! Anyway, Was hoping to write a long email again, but we have unfortunately been running around all afternoon trying to organise what we´re going to do for the next few days before Galapagos (which we leave for on the 22nd). Cos we want to try and see as much as we can in ecuador while we are here, so we´re trying to use everyday we have off..so thats why there is so much organising to do!!! Anyway, we ran into another sacha guide here in Quito called Jarol (say harol)(ecuadorian guy) and hes going to a place called Yanacocha 2moro for the day..a really beautiful place..beautiful lake...so we jumped at the opportunity!! We are leaving at 6:30am 2moro morning so unfortunately wont be able to do any phoning 2moro, perhaps only the next day (sorry!). We will be coming back sometime in the afternoon, and then we are hopefully leaving the next day to go to a place called Chiripuna (which is back in the jungle)..hopefully to see some tapirs, kapybaras and macaws. Jarol is going there (its his place) so thats why we have the opportunity to go..we will probably be there for 5 days ..and then we will still have a couple days left before Galapagos, so we still have to decide what to do with ourselves then. So thats the plan so far, but will tryand send a long email when we get back 2moro afternoon. Had a great time in sacha (eventhough we worked 24 days straight!)..tips were excellent which was a huge bonus!! Rich had a group of british people ( all ex-south africans!!!!!) for his last group which he really enjoyed cos they all still had the south african accent..it was really weird for me to hear south african voices at the opposite table at dinner time!!You dont realise how different our accent really is!!!!!!!! Anyway, glad for the rest now, but just cant wait for Galapagos!!!!! Hope you guys are all doing well! oh and...Happy mothers day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hope you moms had a GREAT day and were spoilt!!!! Sorry we could not be there, but we were thinking of you! Anyway, i have to run, will keep in touch!! Lots of love, Us!
