Myself, Kev & Matt have set off in Matt's van on a road-trip back to Sydney from Melbourne taking in a few sights along the way. The first being the Great Ocean Road - a road visited by over 7 million tourists a year. So it's a beaten track but also definitely worth it. The views from the look-out points are beautiful like the photographs which try to capture them. We visited Torquay & Bells Beach (which is famous for the surf shop factory outlets). Matt went into one of the surf shops looking to buy a pair of boardies and instead came out with a surf board :o) We then stopped in Lorne for lunch and had a swim (the ocean water was freezing) trying out the new surf board.

We covered quite alot of the GHR before arriving into Port Campbell around 8pmish. We checked into our hostel before quickly heading around the corner to Nico's restaurant (Pizza & Pasta) which was still serving dinner (just). Massive portions - the pasta was very good.
Tired from the weekends sheninaghans and the drive itself we hit the hay after dinner looking forward to more of the GHR tomorrow.
